Dog Walker in Historic Core, DTLA
Grand old buildings, loft conversions and Broadway's busy sidewalks. The Historic Core is classic DTLA, and it rewards a confident, steady walk.
Where we walk in Historic Core
- Spring Street Park, a small green space between historic buildings (check posted rules for dogs)
- Pershing Square, a short walk west
- Calmer stretches of Main and Los Angeles Streets at off-peak times
We always follow posted park and leash rules.
Building access
Many homes here are conversions in older buildings, with vintage elevators, buzzer entries and narrow lobbies. We take our time with small elevators and stairwells, so your dog stays relaxed.
Foot traffic and street notes
Foot traffic, street vendors and sidewalk construction come and go. We walk at your dog's comfort level and give a wide berth to anything that makes them uneasy.
Heat and paws
Older buildings give some shade, but crosswalks and open lots heat up. We keep midday summer walks shaded and on the shorter side.
