FAQ
Downtown LA Dog Walking FAQ
High-rise access, elevators, dog-friendly DTLA parks and more.
Can you get into my high-rise or loft building?
Yes. Most DTLA buildings use a front desk, key fob, app or buzzer access. At the meet-and-greet we'll go over your building's routine, register with the front desk if it's required, and follow your building's pet rules every visit.
What about elevators?
Elevators are part of DTLA dog life. We use pet or service elevators where your building asks us to. We keep your dog close and calm, and we'll wait for the next car if your pup does better without other dogs.
Where do you walk dogs downtown?
It depends on your neighborhood and your dog. Favorites include Grand Hope Park in South Park, Pershing Square, the open areas around the Sixth Street Viaduct, and quieter side streets in each neighborhood. We always follow posted park rules.
How do I get started?
Call or message us. We'll set up a no-pressure meet-and-greet to get to know your dog and your building, then schedule the first walk.
What areas do you cover?
Downtown Los Angeles: the Arts District, South Park, the Financial District, Little Tokyo and the Historic Core. If you're nearby, call and ask.
How much does a walk cost?
Rates depend on walk length, how often you book and how many dogs you have. Call {{PHONE}} for rates.
What do you do when it's really hot?
DTLA sidewalks can burn paws. On hot days we walk earlier or later, pick shaded routes, keep walks shorter, bring water and check paws often.
Can you give medication?
Tell us about it at the meet-and-greet. We'll talk through what your dog needs and follow your written instructions.
